Small Business Evaluation and
Entrepreneur's (SBEE) Program
This unique program capitalizes on the strength
of Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management, rated number
one in the world in 2004 by Economist Intelligence Unit and
Business Week. NSEC scientists develop business plans in partnership
with second-year MBA students. A Kellogg team, under
the direction of Kellogg professor and SBEE program director
Barry Merkin, researches, evaluates, and assists in the development
of business plans for presentation to potential investors. The
program helps researchers with ideas for startup companies to
successfully commercialize their projects, and it provides a
real-world experience for Kellogg students.
Researchers with ready-to-launch technologies who would like
to participate in this program and companies interested in
attending upcoming meetings should contact
Chad Risko.
