Domestic & International Fellowships

The center provides graduate student fellowships each year to talented graduate students. Four of the NSEC fellowships are made possible through support from the Northwestern University Graduate School in support of the center effort. Two additional graduate student fellowships are provided directly by the center to encourage diversity.

Graduate students interested in applying for NSEC fellowships should contact the center at
nanotechnnology@northwestern.edu.

The center also provides funding to support graduate students interested in performing research internationally. Maximum awards allowed per person include:
$2,500 for housing and food
$1,500 for travel, and
$500 for supplies.

To be eligible for this program, you must be a US citizen or permanent resident. This is an ongoing program and applications are accepted at any time.
